Hi Charlotte love these types of videos you’re doing definitely think a bit less fashion hauls and more of these/lifestyle. I don’t think my wardrobe/bank account can cope lol

Your makeup is amazing I’m definitely going to have to get the CT Pillowtalk!

But boy you really do use far too much makeup. I honestly think you don’t need so much. My skin is nowhere near as good as yours but since lockdown last year I’ve found I can get away with far less and be ready in 15 mins. If I was doing a full face I would focus more on my eyes than lots of foundation.

It’s great that a lot more people are embracing this and that having less makeup on especially for people like myself who aren’t blessed with good skin I have noticed my confidence has grown by using less because it’s seen as being “accepted”. Though I want to practice my cats eye better - Im rubbish at it

I’m focusing more on skincare to help my skin rather than relying on makeup (although some days it’s not possible as I have rosacea and get hormonal spots) 😭

A lot has to do with our own confidence and self-esteem! x🤍🤍🤍

Dear Charlotte,
I totally understand your uncertainty and a lot of us feel this way because we are all so influenced by the fake flawless faces on social media. We all pursue an unrealizable ideal which has nothing to do with reality. but you really do a lot and you could do less. It helped me to think: Nobody comes as close to your skin as yourself ;) Lockdown has helped me a lot to wear less and to focus more on skincare. Now I'm mostly just wearing concealer, blush, some brown eyeliner and some lipstick. maybe you could try less on an every day basis and save your make-up for special occasions. XX

Oh, i don't want to be negative in any way. But it's painful to watch how many products you apply on your skin. You are young and beautiful. You just need a little foundation and some makeup to enhance the beauty of your eyes. Try to love yourself more! Think about the fact that we will all be old and not that nice looking at some point and we have to accept it. And to be free of fears about society pressure in this area, of looking in a certain way! Big hugs! ❤️
