Serves 12 people
1KG minced mutton keema (Add 150 gms of fat/mutton charbi for better taste)
1.5 Kg of finally chopped onions,
4 table spoons of Ginger Garlic Paste,
15 finally chopped green chillies,
some chopped coriander leaves,
and slat to taste.
Mix everything together in a large bowl, the mutton filling is thus ready.
For the dough - 2 Kgs of plain flour/maida
2 table spoon of refined oil/light olive oil
salt as per taste
Mix these together and knead a tight dough using water.
Take a small portion of dough, roll it out,(size of a poori)
Fill the centre with about one tea spoon of mutton filling and seal the sides using your finger tips as shown in the video.
Lightly oil the steamer, place the momos in a pattern as shown in the video, and steam the momos for 30 Minutes on high flame.
For the chutney:
Boil 8 tomatoes as shown in the video, at high flame for 10 minutes, until the skin starts coming out.
Let them cool, and then peel off the skin of the tomatoes.
Soak 8-10 dry red chillies in water, for 30 minutes, before hand.
In the mixer jar, take the peeled tomatoes, soaked red chillies(after draining it), 8-10 garlic cloves, 12-15 fresh mint leaves (pudina) and salt as per taste. Grind all together into thick paste. Chutney is ready.
Serve hot.
