I was waiting for your reaction to this. I’ve been smiling so much ever since Friday, when it dropped, that my face actually hurts. With my love for jazz, and Taehyung as my bias, I can honestly say “I’m in Heaven” and can’t wait for more. I feel like Lady Gaga will be calling any day now to collab. I’m a 73 year old ARMY (since 2019) and have known for some time that V’s voice is so well-suited for this genre. Irving Berlin is smiling from his grave. And, yes, V can skat. The whole vibe is delicious!

Ah, this is a throwback to great voices of past eras that I love: Nat King Cole, Pat Boone, Vic Damone, Matt Monroe, Andy Williams, Tony Bennet and more recently, Michael Buble, John Legend. I don’t know anyone of his era who sings like this…warm & smooth like honey!

His voice, those feelings poured into each word and note, the little dances, the scat singing, especially the scat singing, is just so artfully done with a touch of cheekiness that is so uniquely Tae, all of which that makes this more than just a jazz performance. He owns this!

Thanks for your reaction. Taehyung is a lot more than just a Kpop idol. His musicality, talent and passion for music are fantastic. He is interested in different genres of songs, including opera but is incredibly brilliant at singing R&B and ballads. But with deep, honey-like, and soulful vocals, he is born to be a jazz singer. He has an old soul and loves jazz singers like the late Bing Crosby and called Lady Gaga his Jazz Queen. And Bing's estate account complimented his jazzy voice a few times while Gaga fans are now eager for a collab. We are waiting excitedly for the arrival of his album, and surely jazz songs will be among his compositions.

The female singer is Minna Seo. She is a 20 year old So Korean jazz singer. I read she is call" the Princess of Jazz". She & V's voices blended so well. To me V's voice is like silk & honey & envelopes you in a warm hug that penetrates your soul. A big thank you to his Grandmother who helped raise V till he was 14 & who introduced V to the old classics, R&B and of course, JAZZ. I want more of jazzy V.

V will continue to have a successful solo career if ever BTS decides to retire. He can cover many genres, but romantic songs, & jazz tunes will be his trademark. I can't wait for his album to be released, I know we will be surprised as V is so unpredictable. Loved the harmonies between him & Minna Seo, our Tae looked so comfortable & you can tell he really enjoyed himself👋💜💜💜💜
