It is very cool to see several of the former A's players interviewed for this series and it just shows how great the team was back in the early 1970s. It also makes you realize how important this team has been to the community of Oakland over the years. It will be tough to see them move in the next couple of years.

Reggie looks great for his age. I could listen to him talk about baseball all day.

those 3 years were magical. If they stayed together they would have won more for sure

And, I just got his incredibly awesome Mitchell & Ness 1972 beautiful white jersey!! I wish the organization would bring THAT one back into an active option for the players' alternatives. 💯✊👍🙌🙌 I'm honored to wear him & Rickey on my back!! 🙌🙌🙌

Those were some great uniforms. I really like the number font on the "Fort Knox Gold" 1972 jerseys. Also, Don't ever sleep on the "Wedding Gown White" ones as another fan commented. I proudly wear the 'Kelly Green" Reggie #9 jersey seen in the video I own.

How ironic that Mr. October did not play in his first World Series.

This old Mets fan still hates those guys! Should've won that WS
Hats off to Oakland, though. Great team for the ages. Still, if Rusty Staub hadn't gotten hurt...

Reggie Jackson won the 1972 Pennant for the A's when he injured himself Stealing Home for the Winning Run in Game 5 against the Tigers.
