CDC hosted a webinar with climate consultancy Acclimatise on climate risks and the Taskforce on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) for Financial Institutions in Africa.
The webinar began to unpack key climate-related financial risks and opportunities in South Asia and focused on climate governance and peer experience with climate risk analysis.
The session ended with a refresher on TCFD and a group exercise. As of February 2020, support for the TCFD has grown to over 1,027 organizations, representing a market capitalization of over $12 trillion.
