My wife doesn't understand why I sit alone in the dark watching the two candles on the mantlepiece dancing their flame against the brickwork of the fireplace while listening to this. Meanwhile she's in the bedroom watching X Factor. I love her dearly but we are worlds apart.

I am a Muslim, this is wonderful, I can not describe it, it touches my heart and soul. I love churches and Christians. There is no difference between us. God loves us all. God is love. ♥️

Imagine living in the 14th century and traveling from a small village somewhere in the forest to a cathedral in a big city for the first time and stepping into it you hear this..
You would probably think you’ve arrived in heaven..

religious or not, i think we can all agree that mass choirs have a hauntingly beautiful quality to them. i often wonder what it would be like to hear an ancient choir sing of their deity or deities in their language. i bet that even with no context, the song would still be beautiful.

I was born and raised Catholic. I distanced myself from my Church for a while because I questioned my faith. Decided to come back and try again. Heard the choir and music and felt so at peace... like I was home again.

I love and adore the fact that people of all cultures and religions, atheists and all types of creeds are here enjoying this kind of músic. There is something so pure yet so simple in this music that brought us all together. It's amazing and it show us that we are way simpler creatures than we make ourself believe.
