'It's All Greek To Me' #Shorts

Do you also use the phrase “Ich verstehe nur Bahnhof”? We use it when we don’t understand something or perhaps even don’t want to understand something!

When speaking English, you can just say “I don’t understand a word that person is saying” or “It’s all Greek to me!”. Translated, “Es klingt alles griechisch für mich!”

I don’t use idioms very often when speaking to non-native speakers of English. If I do, I normally check for understanding or explain exactly what I mean.
