Massive thank you to everyone who provided questions for our Writer/Author Q&A. We had so much fun taking a break from editing to film this for you. It was definitely too long for one video so enjoy Part 1 now and look for Part 2 in the coming weeks.

It's lovely to see the support and excitement you share for each other and your craft.

I'm really into what Michael Ventura said in 1993 about the talent of the room.
writing is something you do alone in a room.
a metaphorical or literal aloneness not withstanding-
at the same time, I can imagine connecting with other writers would really help that whole process and I guess what you guys describe about having a writing buddy is what that might look like.

This is amazing to watch. I LOVED this. I don’t claim to be a good writer but I have some pretty fun ideas in my head and I feel like I should just try. Like why not try. Can’t wait for part 2!

Love the picture inspo idea!

Sitting down to write every day is just... ugh... my failing point.

Ha! Agree about Ian Somerhalder!

I’m just like Amber, I’m such a panster. I’m trying to plot out but ugh. It’s just so hard lol! Loved this video! Can’t wait for part two.

So I've learned that I ask a of questions. I'm glad you guys spoke about characters with your first question. That's what I meant by saying "muse" so that was perfect! For action scenes, I've really enjoyed listening to movie scores and that's helped out a lot. You and Amber are so much fun to watch together. I hope you get the chance to do more tags together!

The plotting question was interesting. Personally I did make an outline with the points and things I want to include, but not really how, nor exactly when they will happen. As you: it needs to flow. I don't want to be stuck because something needs to happen at a specific point in my head.
I also already thought out and came up with most of the story, I only need to write it. The outline is just to help when I get stuk and to help me include everything I want to be in the story. A little bit like a cheat sheet when you are doing a presentation and just write down words and key phrases.

But everyone is different and I also have seen an example of a book where the author didn't know where her book should go, and it showed. That book was chaos. But I think one is set as long as you have major plot points in your head or wirtten down (at least for the pantsers amnong us).
