Classic Game Room - SIN AND PUNISHMENT review for Nintendo 64

Classic Game Room reviews SIN AND PUNISHMENT for N64 from Treasure and Nintendo released in 2000. Sin and Punishment is an experience not to be missed on the Nintendo 64, from arcade game and "space ship shooter" veteran, Treasure, comes this mesmerizing, albeit confusing shooter on rails that blows away your eyeballs with a nonstop barrage of action and weirdness! Sin and Punishment is considered a cult classic and beloved by millions, yet it was never released in the West as a physical release (it is available on Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console now!) The storyline is enigmatic to say the least, as you.... actually I have no idea. Just shoot everything that moves, fight crazy end bosses, rock out to the rad music and score as many points as possible. Also don't forget to enjoy the 2-player co-op mode, Sin and Punishment is a gem that belongs in your N64 collection! CGR Sin and Punishment video review features Sin and Punishment gameplay recorded from the Japanese Pikachu N64.

Can't beleive how the N64 managed to pull off this game. It's amazing how good looking it is on the N64

This game and its sequel are someone of the best shooter games that I've played and both are now downloadable on the Wii U eShop.

Truly, an underrated gem.

There's been many times that I talk about this game to people and give me a blank stare, but it doesn't take long to turn them into believers. Sequel, while not as jaw-dropping as the original. It's still one of the best Wii games out there.

Man, I've been waiting for this review. Good job, Mark.

I just started playing this on my n64 and it's pretty incredible. How simple yet complex the controls are and they're super tight!!! You could play this on a North American n64 just remove the blocks where you insert the cart.

You were the best Mark. Have you considered a quarterly video game review release? We need more classic game room! No one does it better

One of the best games out there. I love this one so much. The graphics and design are phenomenal, how they pushed this out of the N64 is just incredible.

You use the left analog stick to move the aim and the x and y buttons to move the character. The L and R buttons are for shooting and jump, and with b button you change automatic or free aim (this is the method one, using the gamecube controller, you can also use the classic controller, but I prefer the gamecube.

And thank you Laurie from Finland for sending him the game to review and Felicity from UK for sending him the Japanese N64 so that he can review it.

Wow, this game still looks surprisingly good. I'd have to pick this up on the Virtual Console.

@wwefuture01 Because the controller's analog is akwardly placed and the buttons feel weird. But I still love the N64.

I waited 5 years for Sin & Punishment to arrive on the Wii. It was worth the wait. Really can't say that about a lot of games. :D
