i like how you can just see the artstyle change as the video goes on, shows just how much charizard was used as the series went on

This puts into perspective that the humans of POKEMON are build different, they survive getting shock, burn, hit, getting blasted.

Ash's Charmander is one of the most iconic and recognizable Pokémon from the original series. It started as being abandoned by a very selfish trainer and decided to join Ash's team but after evolving into Charmeleon it starts behaving like a gruff teenager and keeps scorching Ash for no reason, then after getting knocked out (and teased) by an Aerodactyl (who snatched Ash in its clutches) Charmeleon evolved into a very powerful (yet disobedient) Charizard. Ash gets very annoyed by his Charizard's disobedience throughout the series which costed him to loss the Top 16 match of the Kanto League to Ritchie, but there is one time Charizard actually wanted to battle and that was up against Blaine's Magmar on Cinnabar Island and won (while learning Seismic Toss), then Charizard's loyalty came back during on the Orange Islands which made Ash very happy (thus learning Dragon Rage).

Have to go with Flamethrower, as A Charizard Trainer Myself, that attack has saved my Bacon more times then I can count.

Take a shot for every time Ash says attack after he shouts a move.

Charmander must’ve been at a very high-level to learn flamethrower ., I don’t know why Damien has abandon him?

I Would love to see more battles of Charizard in journeys but after Unova we didn't really get to see Charizard in Some action, i remember how i excited i was back in the days whenever Charizard return to battle in Pokemon league

Seriously, Tackle? Like mf why are you running tackle on a charizard, same goes to ember, those moves suck, i would complain about fire spin but it is broken in gen 1
(Btw, ik battles in the anime work diffrent then the games but i do not care)

I feel like charizard didn’t have this many moves and Ash was actually just giving them different names, for example steel wings and wing attack look pretty similar but I’m not sure 🤔

Honestly, Charizard's Peak moveset would have to be: Flamethrower, Seismic Toss, Dragon Breath, and Steel Wing (The Moveset vs Brandon). It's an absolute SHAME, they butchered it in It's Unova Return. Flamethrower is great of course, but Slash, Wing Attack, and to me, even Dragon Tail, it's just bland. I mean, you gave us Wing Attack.. how much more difficult would Steel Wing have been? Give it the Unova Iron Tail Treatment. Charizard never really used or needed a Flying Attack, and if it was that important, give Charizard Air Slash, since Charizard was the Unfezant replacement and Charizard's Air Slash would have been an upgrade of Unfezant's Air Cutter. I kinda get keeping its moveset legal to Gen 5, so if players use Charizard in BW, or B2W2, they don't realize in those games Seismic Toss Charizard is not possible, but that kinda logic shouldn't apply to the Anime World.

But on another note: Watching this video made me think about a future possible battle Gimmick for A new Game... Move Combining! We see it ALL the time in the Anime, and you already have an Item concept for fusing Pokémon (DNA Splicers), so what about a Mechanic that let's you Combine 2 moves. The Base Power could be the Average of the 2 moves Base Powers (Rounded up to the nearest 5 or 10), You could pick the 1 Type the move would be (Iron Tail + Electro Ball, being an Electric Type Move), and All effects of both moves would be included in the Combined move. That Aerial Submission Attack could be a Flying Move, letting it hit Ghost Types. The major draw back would be a Combined move would take up 2 Slots. So that Pokémon would only have 3 moves in battle. That would e a fun way to spice up moves, almost like Z moves but better.
