I'll simplify this whole "confusing" mess hugely. There. are. no. jobs. No one escaped the massive layoff wave during the lockdowns. Did you think everyone went back to work like usual? Not a chance.

It’s pretty simple, for the most part families go to the parks, and singles and couples go on cruises. Disney has priced most families out of going to the parks. Singles and couples have more spending power to afford cruises.
