Unsurpassed in his prime, and still sounds great live, a legendary talent to be sure.

His voice when he sang scarborough fair for the band myth was phenomenal. The power of his voice in that song gets me every time. Always will be one of my favorite vocalists.

I love Geoff too! I saw QR live many times in the 90's mostly, and he and the entire band gave 1, 000% onstage every time! Perfection!

My (late) drum teacher told me, "if you can play what's on the jukebox, you'll always have work". Such wisdom. Hearing Geoff mention some groups / songs he sang at the beginning reminded me of Greg Edwin, my friend, boss and drum teacher. R.I.P. -- Thank you for this video!!!

I was fortunate enough to see him in the 80's once on the "Operation "Mindcrime" tour and then again on the "Empire" tour, in a word: Awesome!

I come from a trauma background and when I found Geoffs voice it was a place of solance and love. I found a way to express myself in voice by watching/and listening him. I always sang but it became a different animal when I began listening to him.. then I began listening to myself

I ‘m smiling thru this entire interview. I love this sensational singer’s openness. I’m from the Beatles generation and I remember them giving silly answers to reporters questions as a lark because they were sick of the same questions constantly. Geoff has a real nice humanness that is so refreshing and appreciated. ❤️‍🔥🔥❤️‍🔥

Empire is still a great album and its fun to see peoples reactions to Geoffs vocal talent to this very day. He is in the realm of the greatest of all time vocalists imo

I do not find why i actually find my self commenting other than the fact, perhaps. Nostalgia, and, the first time I heard his voice, lyrics, the band, etx, completely mesmerized me! Even to this day in my mid 50s, llove all Queensryche material, and has got me through great and the most adverse times of my life. Breakups, child rearing, divorce etc. Any positive that one can find is truly immeasurable, so to whom it may concern. Latch on to that positive. And by all means, Take hold of the flame!😊

I wish Geoff, Scott and Chris would hook back up. Never mind Michael and Eddie. They were the essential Queensryche as far as I am concerned. The lyrics were amazing. Empire was a great album. Although Operation Mind crime will always be my favorite. Promsied land was also different but a album to change the face of Queensryche. Never got the recognition it deserved. Hear in The now frontier, you can tell that things were going a little astray between band members. In all in all Scott, Chris and Geoff need to reconnect to make there own music.

He sounds like Michael Kiske from Helloween when he sings, but sounds like Eric Wagner from Trouble when he talks.
