WHICH ONE? iPhone 16 Pro VS Osmo Pocket 3

Now that the new iPhone 16 Pro is out, the question is, should you choose it, or should you choose the DJI Osmo Pocket 3?

I think the iPhone 16 Pro and DJI Osmo Pocket 3 are both formidable opponents, however, one has to win.

Great video man! I’m a professional filmmaker and I’ve worked with both the iPhone 15 Pro Max using ProRes with the black magic cinema app and the Osmo Pocket 3. As soon as I start editing, there is a massive difference that gives an extremely superior advantage to the Osmo pocket 3. When I enlarging a 10 bit image, in post to get a close-up, the image detail is all there And the iPhone simply doesn’t hold up. That being said working with these devices has completely changed how I do what I do. Cutting between the two of them in a pro situation works really great. I just don’t zoom in post very much on the footage shot with the iPhone.

You’re always going to have your phone. Pocket 3 gives you a superior standard video camera. And gimbal with tracking. That’s why I bought it. I don’t use it as much as my phone or Sony mirrorless because I’m photography-heavy but pocket 3 is a boss for video.

Im 4 minutes in but never seen a comparison with 2 images output that are incredibly similars! But you are right a phone that can receive calls while your in the middle of recording is wild 😂

Don't forget with the Pocket 3, you can pair 2 Mic 2 Tx and you can use the Internal recording as well as the Noise Cancelling. If the Mic 2 is paired to a phone/tablet/non-dji action camera like Gopro Hero/Insta360 Ace Pro/X4/X3....the Noise Cancelling and 32-bit float internal recording does not work, however, said features work on the DJI Action 4 & 5Pro

Great video on the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and the IPhone, both are really good for video but the Pocket 3 is the best for video from my experience with both cameras 👌

Pocket 3 is going to produce the superior footage, but you need a second device to edit the footage. You only need the iPhone to film, edit, and publish.

Looking at my 4k monitor screen the Osmo Pocket 3 gives better results. The Gimbal is just so good too. Easy choice.

Great job overall in your comparison review, but I kept waiting for you to focus on the stabilization. That’s a huge factor with the DJI, and iPhone has used their game but it’s software. I wish you would have taken a section of your video and really compared that huge feature.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 wins as it has the larger sensor and it takes up less space and it has superior gimbal stabilization which is superior to electronic stabilization especially when it comes to maintain the video quality in low light AND it's cheaper too. For video editing you can use programs that are actually compatible with Windows. Most YouTubers use a PC to do video editing.

I make my videos on the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which I don’t do any fancy edits or color grading or anything but I am still really happy with the results. One big advantage for the iPhone is you can film, edit, and publish all on the same device. Can’t do that on the pocket 3

i have both, but 16pro max. the image quality from both is impressive. the iphone is better in low-light handhled scenarios. however i tend to carry pocket3 for capturing mements that i really want to remember. iPhone has numerous work tasks while pocket 3 is a dedicated photography tool which can work with larger storage cards. larger storage capcity of iphone is a luxury.

Awesome video, great comparison between the specs too. I have the Pocket3, and it’s a great camera. I also use my iPhone 12 Pro Max for video sometimes, which is no match for the Pocket3. I’ll eventually upgrade to the 16 Pro Max. Keep up the great work bruh, your videos do have value.👍🏾👊🏾
