What will the world be like without teachers like you? I've been looking for seamless textures making for so many months and I'm glad I found your channel.

Really great tutorial. I have seen "how to make seamless textures" before, but this was by far the most detailed and well explained. Thank you.

Thanks a lot for this video. Useful technic. I use smart-objects during patterns creating process. I clone smart-object 9 times and place they as 3x3 grid. So, I don't need flatten my layers and create new pattern every time. I see how the final image will look immediately after saving smart-object.

I never could make my tiles seemless in school. Now I know why. My teachers only mentioned the clone stamp tool, nothing else. As a Photoshop noob, it never occurred to me to try all this other stuff. Thanks for the great tutorial. You give me hope.

Great tutorial. I'll be using these techniques when making 360 degree panoramas.

I'll definitely be using this technique. I'm always re-texturing things for 3D rendering. I don't have Dimension, (I'm on the Photography plan) but I use several other 3D apps (Poser, DAZ Studio, Vue as well as Photoshop's 3D feature. Very cool stuff, Jesus!

Ur vedios are always amazing! It's too hard for me to follow and catch up for now, hoping easy photoshop guides would be uploaded later:)

I've been doing this for years. Creating seamless textures for architectural rendering. I like dragging with the mouse in the offset screen to position while editing. I also like inputting the offset distance manually based on the image size so I can just minus those numbers to get things back to where we started. just in case...

to even the texture it's easier to make a copy of visible layers, apply Luminosity blend mode to it, then apply High Pass filter, and visually figure out the numbers there to still get the texture, but get rid of unwanted contrast.

Fantastic... I'm interested in seamless textures as I do create 3D models using Hexagon3D, Silo3D, Moi3D and 3dCoat and render in eonsoftware's Vue..thanks for the very useful tutorial...

Hi Jesus, sorry but I can't find the "All blending modes" course link in the description. Love your channel!

Awesome video, thanks for the tutorial! 2 questions though, how did you sample the BG layer with the clone stamp tool while being in a new layer as you did? And do you think this would work for a wood texture with swirls and different tones of vein/cathedral/stripes? Would love to see a tutorial for creating seamless wood textures. Great work keep sharing!

Paint Shop Pro has had a filter for this effect for several years, now. It's called "create seamless tile". I wonder why Adobe hasn't implemented it by now?

Curious how long it takes you to build one of your 3d images?
