Yes, some players are a bit rusty, long season etc. Other than Rice and Maddison being besties (and not sure why they are considered over other midfield players), England have a strong team. Blame the Management if they can't get the best out of these players. Can't be playing depressing football when your strength is in attack.

Trent Bellingham Rice should be the 3 main men in midfield, all world class. Mainoo could play if Southgate plays two holding mids like before, or Wharton.. both look decent. Not world class yet so people need to chill. The media are creaming over Mainoo in particular because he’s a Utd player.
