IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING! Paint & Wallpaper REVEAL in the CHATEAU!

Journey to the Château, Ep. 219 - In this Friday episode, Patrick and Stuart are back in their chateau petit salon to start putting up the final paint and wallpaper from Little Greene Paint and Paper. This period reproduction wallpaper is an interpretation of one of Architect Robert Adam’s designs, and comes with exact match coordinating colors. John the Electrician stops by to update some of the salon electrics. Patrick and Stuart also meet up with friends Tony and Jane to go to a "Salon de Curiosités" antique fair at the beautiful Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil.

LOVE the green wallpaper! Green is an earth tone color and when putting on your wall it is like bringing the outside in! SO glad that you now are getting lots of reservations! Know that Patrick will be running the kitchen with such great ideas! HUGS

I was so impressed with the Château d'Ainay-le-Vieil and grounds but then my jealousy reared it's head with the beautiful objects (of curiosity) for sale! We have nothing like that, unless you go to NY antique galleries or well .. Sotheby's. For every shot of groupings I made sure to choose the object I would have to purchase. And afterwards I felt better but with NO bill! Ha! But I also love your choice of wallpaper and the matching paint is nothing short of magic! The way it allowed you to handle the Gibb door was amazing! And the two of you, making it sound like fun helps the rest of us move forward with what is almost always considered daunting, at best! Thanks for the great video! Looking forward to more!

Making the little bridges or patches in the wallpaper is ingenious! (Sorry, I don't know the correct term.) I love the room! It truly is a jewel of the chateau! Neat on the tablecloths! Finding a quality textile merchant is fantastic. I love high-end antique shows. I may not be able to buy anything, but I get to see goodies that I would never see otherwise! (And maybe learn something, too!)
