Aviator Harness Training | Getting the Head through the Harness with the Green Cheek Conure Elvis

First attempts to getting used to the Aviator Harness but also getting my Green Cheek Conure used to being around it. We still do not have it on but we are hardly working on it. What we accomplished so far:
- Being calm when the harness is around
- Starting to play with the harness and not being afraid to touch it
- Getting the head through the wing opening

Still a long way to go but hopefully by the end of winter we will have it on :P

Hi there. How did the training work out? What was the size you used? Our Avian pet store recommended the Mini size, which does match is weight (the manufacturer recommends it for parrots lest than 75 grams and Piper ranges between 70 and 73 grams. He is curious about so far and has ventured over to examine it on the table by my chair. Was encouraged by his curiosity. Yesterday was day one. Still have to work through the training steps but a little concerned about the recommended size. Like and sub for you today.
