So I built my PC in July so I'm new to it and all this PC stuff. I wonder why this isn't part of windows updates. I did notice my PC had the 2015-2019 version.

I never really thought about it until I was going to download a program that said it needed the latest C++.

It says I have it, but when I click on a game a got that requires that it says Microsoft visual c++ required, why won't it work for me?

Also I read somewhere that it's best to have both versions if on a x64 system. Not sure why. Maybe to do with compatibility of older programs?
