Hiii guys, I hope you are all doing well! I just got back home after an incredible trip to Istanbul with my bestie Matthea and with the weather being a bit gloomy in Copenhagen, it's the perfect excuse for cozy days inside. Time flies and I haven’t done a Q&A in a while so I decided to answer a few questions. Helgi and I went on a date and treated ourselves to a lovely lunch, and spent some time at Creative Space painting ceramics – which was sooo much fun! Later, our friends joined us for dinner, and we tried out a new recipe that turned out amazing. See you in London next week! xx

Birta, I understand your tears over your beauftiful little dog. We have a miniature schnauzer too - we have had her since she was a puppy and she is. now 12 but sadly has recently lost her sight and it is so sad to watch her struggle . We are so lucky to still have her and we are helping her cope and she is getting better and better at navigating the home. They are such amazing little dogs and its no wonder you miss her. Well done on your award - you deserve it 💝

Congratulations Birta-100k subscribers! I still get emotional about my two dogs that died years ago. They were such a big part of my life and so amazing. I'm not sure who came up with this message but it's something along the lines of "never apologize for honest tears". I'm sensitive so now instead of apologizing or feeling ashamed that I cry I just realize it's because I felt something deeply. 🦮💌

oh my god, I immediately started crying when you talked about your sweet dog who passed away. I think everybody who's had a pet that was dear to them and that they had to let go of understands this pain without further explanation, at least I do. I'm still sad about every cat that I had to say goodbye to. but the love we shared with our fur babies is so, so precious and I'm thankful for these experiences, because they are so pure.
I once came across a video on instagram of a guy who works at an animal shelter, who sat down for his lunch break and there were so many animals coming straight to him (who obviously wanted to be pet), that he was crowded by cats and dogs in a minute. and one of the top comments was saying something like "I like to think that this is what it's going to be like when we die and get to meet our pets again" and afterwards I just sat there crying, eyes closed, imagining to meet again every single pet that we had and really feeling into it. it was such a bittersweet moment. and even though I'm not religious at all, I do hope that it's going to be like that.
