1. There are no need to remove your sim card or sd card, but for safety you can remove your sd card to loose and data accidentally.
2. You have to swith off your phone then start it in Download mode.
3. Do as it shown in video.

wipe and reset your phone then try it. restart your phone by pressing Home+Power+Volume UP key, a menu will appear then goto the wipe and reset option using volume key then select it. After that reboot your phone and try to update via Kies. Note: It will wipe your data so please take backup first.

Alhamdhulillah....all worked well...but guys just remember you will need a minimum of 3000MB space on your C drive (on your computer) to do update!!!

Jelly Bean is official available in INDIA via Kies. first check that your internet connection is working or not, if you are behind a proxy then it may be a problem if not then try to uninstall your current Kies version and download the latest version and then try to update, if it still not available then reset your phone and try again (please backup your data before resetting, i m not responsible for any data lose). I am not sure it will work for you but if you want to try, it's up to you.

hi thanks for the video  , i have Samsung galaxy s advance ginger bread and now i update it to jellybean following ur instruction in the video..but the only prob i having is slow internet connection when downloading an app . thanks alot .
i factory reset before and after installing new firmware

i am using galaxy ace plus and android OS is gingerbread but still there is no updated firmware on kies available please help me out in upgradation

First of all wipe and reset factory data and then try it.
Note: Please take backup before doing any thing or you may loose your data.

yes, this method will work for any Samsung smartphone, if there is an update available from Samsung.

I am from INDIA, Jelly Bean is official available in INDIA via Kies. Uninstall your current Kies version and download the latest version from samsung site then try to update, if it still not available then reset your phone and try again (please backup your data before resetting, i m not responsible for any data lose). I am not sure it will work for you but if you want to try, it's up to you. gud luck!

Thank you for the video, when i open kies in my pc it does'nt give me a new firmware, but it gives me this is the latest firmware PDA: LK2, i have the old android version 2.3.6, what can i do? Thank you!

Does Samsung Kies only work with samsung mobile or even support other phones ?

When I install this, will I lose my data? Apps, Music, Photos, Videos, everything?
Will your phone work slower after the update?
Must I push the home button + on/off button + volume down button for the downloading mode BEFORE I connect it to the computer?

yes, it does. So, for safety you must take backup of your phone data.
