I do like how Brad acts like it was done out of hate lol

It’s not about how much room was on the raft, it’s about how much weight the raft could support before sinking a little bit into the water and freezing them both.

Cameron is the personification of “if you want it done right — do it yourself”

So brutal how Cameron is like "he has to die...I'd make the raft smaller if I had too" lol

Cameron had to use science to prove something cuz he was so pissed people thought they saw a flaw in his film😂

I like how it is scientifically impossible for both of them to be on the raft, but the argument persists, because they care about the characters so much, that they wanted them both to survive.

The movie literally shows Jack try to get on and it starts tipping. Maybe it would’ve settled, but Jack wasn’t taking that chance.
AND REGARDLESS, if Jack had climbed atop it even if they still floated they still would have submerged the raft more than with only Rose on there. As it was, Rose was far less exposed than Jack and still she was on death’s door by the time the lifeboats came back. At best she probably had only five minutes left before she died. If she had been anymore in the water they both would have died long before the lifeboats returned.

I love how she says "ill never let go" and then proceeds to pry his cold head hands off the raft, sending him into the abyss.

James Cameron was like „I’ve had enough of this!”

Myth busters tried. As is, they both couldn't fit. The way they got it to work was by tying life vest to the door, but I don't think Jack saw that episode.

He could fit on it, but it would have sank

Not only would Huge Glass have got onto the door, he would have got the bear on it; started a fire and all three would have survived.

Dont know why people don't realise that Titanic is a masterpiece because of Jack's death. Jack actually represented the thousands of men who sacrificed their love for their loved ones . On the other hand rose represented the women who lived to justify their loved ones sacrifices with the memory of them . Titanic was already a tragedy with 1500 deaths so would have an happy ending really done justice to this fim ? No . Titanic is a masterpiece. James Cameron you are a legend, be proud of what you did

How has this EVER been a thing, let alone a thing as big as it is? THEY SHOW Jack trying to climb on the door, bringing it down. Too much weight for them both. People are too oblivious to understand that yet think they're big brain in questioning it anyway 🙄

See, at one point I was obsessed with Titanic as a small child. I always wondered why Jack didn't try one more time to get on the door with Rose. He tried once and both of them were falling off it so he just stopped.

It always upset me how he died but it really makes the story what it is. "He exists now only in my memory, " is the most heartbreaking thing to hear at the end of the film. Killed me. This film is a masterpiece.

Poor Jack was destined to die by James Cameron's hand. Settled.
