The Stuff you Need*:

In this video I review my infrared converted Fujifilm X-T10. In a recent video I showed how to use an unmodified Fujifilm X100VI for Infrared Photography, but this time we're taking a look at a proper full-spectrum modified Fujifilm Camera. This is also possible with other Fujifilm Cameras like the Fujifilm X-T5, Fujifilm X-T50, Fujifilm X100V, Fujifilm X-Pro 3, Fujifilm X-E4, Fujifilm X-T30, or Fujifilm X-H2. I've also seen an infrared Converted Leica Q3, and I bet the new Leica Q3 43 would be super interesting for infrared photography. But Sony probably makes the most popular cameras for infrared photography, like the Sony A7RIII and Sony A7RIV. This dreamy infrared look isn't possible with Fujifilm Film Simulation recipes, but rather needs some careful thought of which lens and filter to use (I used the Fujifilm XC 35mm F2 and a Hoya R72 Filter) and a lot of post-processing.

I thought fujifilm sensors were known for having an already great IR sensitivity, like, to the point of there is no need for modification.

Great photos! Been wanting to take out the IR filter from my X-T100, but I’m sure it’s not that easy or even possible at all for a noob without special tools.
