Hunter Armstrong talks World Champs, Olympic Trials, and Loving Relays

Newly minted World Champion Hunter Armstrong covers many aspects of his swimming career and experiences representing Team USA. Most recently, at the World Championships in Doha, Hunter won 7 medals.

He won the 100 Backstroke individually and blasted 47.8 and 1:45 in the 100/200 freestyles on relays. Hunter had never been under 1:50 before in the 200. He’s got to swim it soon to qualify for Olympic Trials in the event!

This interview covers many aspects of Hunter’s swimming career and experiences representing Team USA at the most recent Doha World Championships.

Hunter's reasons for competing at Worlds and his overall positive experience, where he helped provide leadership for younger swimmers.
