Piano Music - Floating Through the Wind | Claudie Mackula Improvisation

Here's a new piece I share with you. I was sitting at the piano a few evening ago and came up with this little melody following a simple chord pattern. There are three notes that keeps repeating themselves throughout the whole piece and it's interesting to see what you can create while staying around the same notes. Music is truly a beautiful and fascinating thing and I'm always in awe of all the atmospheres and stories that can be created. Anyways, technical talk aside, it was hard for me to come up with a title or image for this one as it is for most of my pieces. Finally, I realized it made me think of something gently being carried by the wind, going up, then slowly down and up again. It can also be about trusting the wind and going with the flow even if it means to leave something behind. Life passes by, gently. And we dance to the gentle breeze.
