Since it's filming by Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin in Northern California in October of 1967, it has remained a complete mystery, far beyond any rational explanation. Even with today's modern computer technology, the 953 frames of 16mm footage still manages to evade any evidence that the film was a perpetrated hoax made by two cowboys seeking fame. It's amazing to me when adults, people who can drive and vote and buy guns and sign contracrs, look at the Patterson-Gimlin film and see anything but a man in a suit.

Id say it was a hoax film but I Can't because no one has been able to replicate the suit or this simple film for that matter without CGI of which did not have its inception in that time. Ive seen no evidence that concludes this to be a hoax. It would seem that the odds are actually stacked against this being a hoax simply because the only real proof of anything happening is the film itself. By the film alone That is to disregard all hear say which is no conclusive evidence at all. All we have is the film and by the film it appears to be relatively legit and overly complex to duplicate for just a couple of mountain folks that obviously believe what they saw. If you are willing to claim hoax so diligently and call these people whom you dont know liars so quickly then I demand that you replicate this suit at this location and prove to us it can even be done at all. Otherwise you have nothing to offer but angry sweet nothings at people you've likely never met.
