Camera control was not advertised as a single hand capture botton that too in portrait, it is specifically for landscape mimicking a slr/dslr so that thumb or finger doesnt distract the visual experience of screen while clicking or recording

Okay we must also mention that the camera control button is for the landscape view.

You turn the phone to put it in a horizontal position to use the Camera Control button.

Spatial Audio for audio mix wasn’t working on my 16 pro, no audio was being recorded at all 😭🙏

The camera control button was made for quick access to the camera when your phone is SIDEWAYS, sure, you can still access it normally, but for some users like me, it would be more difficult because your phone is straight up.

The 5x zoom is aswell on the 15 pro max 🙏🏽 i didnt want the 16 bc its basically the same so i went with the 15 instead

The camera button fits perfectly if you know how to hold the pone. I struggled at first too, but I found a different way to position myself and now I have no problem with the button (vertically anyways…)

I LOVE the camera control button as it instantly opens the camera app, but I also upgraded from pre-action button so I had to open the camera button manually

No guys the camera button is for landscape mainly, why would you squash your thumb over to the side when you can just tap the screen holding it in portrait 🤦🏽‍♂️

As a mid range Android user since my first phone, I switched to apple lately with the 16 pro max. I'm loving it and was a huge upgrade for me ❤

not an apple fan, but how can you not see that the button is to be used while holding the phone horizontally? isn't it obvious that it's supposed to be used like the button on a regular (non-phone integrated) camera?
whats the point in reaching for it in vertical mode, when the button on the screen is right under your thumb?
