The key part is that teams are winning being way more direct against teams that control possession and pundits guesses being totally wrong almost. Japan's game is still the highlight for me. England and Spain had easy games and Costa Rica vs Spain just gave after goal 2. Iran never gave up and the result against Wales shows it. Brazil has been most impressive so far. That game against strong Serbs was a demonstration of football love. Spain had it too easy with Costa Rica. England had also a very weak Iranian defence up against it.

Time wasting is a part of the game. If a player runs the ball into the corner in the dying minutes to protect a lead, they'll say he's clever and he's doing the right thing. If a player is breaking the rules of the game, then book them. That's what yellow cards are for. What's the problem?

Before the tournament kicked off they were saying that having the World Cup mid season will mean players will be in top form and ready to go.
