Last night, I watched Njam Sethi, the former chairman of the PCB, on Sama TV. I am confident that in the end, the hybrid model will be accepted. When the host of Sama TV asked, "Will the Champions Trophy be possible without India?" he replied, "No, the ICC would not allow the Champions Trophy without India." When the host further inquired, "Who would face more damage if Pakistan boycotts the Champions Trophy?" he answered, "Pakistan."

It appears that everything has already been decided. The PCB is merely creating a drama with their letters to the ICC and their strong opposition to the hybrid model in order to gain sympathy from the public, so that they won't criticize the PCB or the government of Pakistan.
