I spoke with someone at DJI Tuesday about losing the flyaway if you use and bind a new controller. I have a mavic3 and want the RC Pro but after watching this video a few times it made me skeptical of the switch. Curious where you saw you lose the coverage because the DJI care rep told me it transfers as long as you bind the remote to the drone and in your care refresh account.

I have an Air 2 with an RC 231
I also have a Mini 3 Pro with a DJI-RC (Screen)
I want to use the RC 231 as the controller for both drones. Not at the same time.
1, This can be done? (according to Heliguy)
2, Is there a link to show me how?
3, How do I disassociate the DJI-RC from the Mini 3 pro. Do I need to?
4, Is there a link to show me how,
5 How do I remove the DJI-RC from the account it’s registered with? (mine but a different account)
6 Is there a link to show me how?

Dude I spend 1 hour trying to pair my new drone to the new RC, I had the remote already and after watching this I was able to pair it in seconds lol

Hi, thanks for the video. However, all you did was pair the controller to the drone. Pairing and Binding are two separate things. At this point it is still not bound to the controller as it is still bound to the other controller you were using. To manually do the unbinding/binding, go to Profile>Device Management>Value-added service>Unbind RC/Bind New Device.
Unbind the bound remote controller first, then bind the new one you will be using.

I got a new Mini 3 pro with RC controller today and it would not pair, tried everything I could think of. After reading the comments here I selected Mini 3 (not Mini 3 pro) and it paired in about 5 seconds. I had searched everywhere for a solution, I would never have tried the vanilla Mini 3 without the comments here. Thank you all so much, I was getting upset at the thought of having to take it back as faulty.
