Convert 1.3 Ghz Video to 5.8 Ghz with a Repeater

How to convert 1.3 video imput (any video Input) to 5.8 video so you can use your Fat Shark goggles without being hardwired.

Im flying a quad copter and it comes with a fpv system installed already but I want a secondary system on it with some googles. whats the best set up and do the repeater needs and splicing or soldering.
