They have been my favorite since the beginning. I had never thought someone passing, that I didn't know personally, could effect me the way Chesters did. It was devastating. It still is. Yes he was an amazing singer from a band I loved, but it was more than that. Chester was truly a wonderful soul. He cared about his fans. He really knew how to touch people. There is nothing more freeing than being numb to a person who never actually loved you but you had fallen for. Especially when that person is a narcissist. My ex fits the definition of one and not feeling anything towards them is definitely a freeing experience. I've spent enough of my time thinking I loved them and now there's nothing.
