Recent policy brief by Kadri Liik analyzed Russia’s charm offensive and engagement with the non-Western countries, which has only intensified after the start of Russia’s war on Ukraine. The war has locked Moscow and the West in a contest for global support, both aiming to get the rest of the world to side with them against the other.
In this webinar, Kadri Liik is joined by Hanna Notte and Ivan Krastev to discuss policy options for the West. How should the West think of Moscow’s intensified outreach to the global south: what does it mean for us? Should the West try to win over the rest, and if so, how?
