it would be really helpful to show how the Pancake bot is programmed and managed. Does it take standard gcode files, and what slicer?

I don't really get why everyone who is creating something, especially in the 3D printing section, tries to frame it as "Education". One out of schools will use such a device for "educational purposes". Back in my days of school, I wouldn't even know in which course to integrate such as device.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the pancake bot, but the creators (and all creators) should stop trying to justify their inventions with the purposes of "education". It is a nice gimmick, and a fun toy or cooking tool. But nothing for the classroom
