It takes timing make sure the dog is in front of you with a distance but not too far. Once you tell him to pick up the book when the dog is close to the book he should stop count to one second in your head then pick up the book you both should have picked up the book wait until he dropped the book then go to your pic boy and drop your book then pick up the book it should work I recommend you doing this quickly because the patch is coming next week

you can max your special stats by doing this glitch with the special book you get in the beginning

I've got it to work on my stimpak and mini nukes but I only get +1 not double my amount. Is there a limit to how much you can drop at a time?
