Really sorry about the audio in the intro and outro. It was perfectly in sync during the edit and afterwards but seems out now...🤔 Anyway, at least you can’t see me during the important bits! 😂 Thanks for watching!

This video just changed my life as a colorist. Yes I know how to color and pretty good at it since I make a living as a filmmaker. But being so stuck into learning how to color I never learn how to grade faster and optimized my workflow. I knew a few of the tips but the rest blew my mind. I’m ready to double and triple the amount of work I take at a time after watching this video.

Double thumbs up from me. This is a role model for how online learning content should be. Comprehensive, well-paced, well-explained, and a great time code index in the description. This video becomes _reference_ material for me.

A couple weeks later and we’ve watched this video second time… Got much more out of it the second time. I think the trick is not to know everything, but to pick your two favorites and memorize those. This video does show the power of resolve color and it is astonishing. Thank you for doing such a great and thorough job.

Thank you for being the first person I've found who assumes that not everyone will have a middle mouse button. I assume it's some sort of battle armour that serious graders cannot do without, but as someone new to Davinci after spending ages looking for copy-and-paste options, I was very grateful to see a much clearer explanation.

Thanks Alex I've been using DaVinci Resolve for about a year as I made the move from final cut as i changed over to black magic camera is absolutely love Divinci but it's a bit like my brain i use about 10% of it and have looked at many online tutorials but I have to say the way that you deliver your tutorials is very clear concise and easy to follow it's like a breath of fresh air thank you so much

Alex- very impressed how thorough your tutorials are. I find that when testing or demonstrating - especially something like this. the over push of red or green etc. with the offset makes it easier for viewers to quickly see the results across the thumbnails. I understand that you are actually using it the way you would in real life scenarios, by putting a quick grade on it, and that is equally as important I guess. I would add that another place that could be applied for grading multiple clips is in the multicam timeline - right clicking and open in timeline that gives the stacked clips - when that is open you can jump to the color page and grade all the full clips from the multicam. And then when you go back and switch it back to the regular multicam, every cut clip in the multicam has a grade applied.
Anyway although I already knew all this stuff, I really appreciate that fact that you covered it very well for those who have not yet been exposed to this information. They can be assured that this is being taught to them properly and accurately. Unfortunately, I can't say that for a lot of Davinci Resolve youTubers. Great job, Alex,

By far the best tutorial I've seen on multiple clip grading. Very nice explanations, fast-paced, and complete. Thanks so much for sharing your understanding!

That was incredibly useful, thank you. Much better than loads of other YT tutorials that just show grading on individual nodes.

It’s great content like this that stands out from the rest. I learned so much from this one video that has dramatically changed my approach to using DR. This video has and will save me hours of work as I previously worked on similar clips in a completely manual and individual way. I applied what I learnt here and what would have taken me a day or so before only took me 20 minutes to complete.

Looking forward to more of these insightful videos :-)

This really helps. Was looking for information on how to color correct all clips from different cameras in a multi-cam shoot, especially for hour-long events, where 100s of clips are involved. Remote grading seems to be one of the better options for this.
