This is the best review of the surface 9 I've seen so far! Not just a spec sheet, but real world use! I have an iPad 2018 for drawing but really tired of waiting to see if/when Apple gives us pro apps. Been really thinking about surface pro 9 for drawing with photoshop. Just worried about performance! Glad to see you think it runs well! Super exciting. Thanks for sharing! Look forward to more photoshop tests and if/under what circumstances you feel any latency? Like document size or # of layers or brush size etc. That's the one thing I'll give apple credit for, my 2018 iPad just doesn't slow down. But then again, it can't run PS either 😭

Thank you for a really comprehensive breakdown. My use case is quite specific (analyst but I like the odd bit of photography) so holding out to understand if the 5G version can handle complex spreadsheets and Power BI! Enjoyed the video.

Btw, have you tried Adobe Fresco for drawing? Also, the OneNote Insider Beta is a big improvement for pen & touch input over the current one.

6 to 7 is fine. I keep my iPad Pro plug in most of the time. Other then that I’ll get maybe 7 hours out it. p.s. good review.

32gb ram version with the same CPU for near 3k is a rip off!
U can buy another surface or any other computer for that much! Lol
I hope surface pro 10 next year will have cheaper price with better specs and battery
