I have not regretted my Bugout purchase. I even upgraded it with aftermarket parks down the road! It's a great EDC.

Sarah is a great addition to the channel.

I've always thought my Bugout was perfect for my EDC -- nice blade, light weight, compact -- but my mind told me it was "delicate" so I've been gentle with it. Thanks for taking a robust gamble on it! Quite impressive!

Watching around 7:58 was just scary. George pulling his full force with the knife tip directed at his face and neck level.

Its really easy to set an experiment up to do this safely. This just encourages people do to dumb stuff with their knives !

I love my bugout. Been my edc for years. Perfect for what I need.

Steel flexibility/elasticity is always fascinating, swords will even have silicon added to help them bend 90 degrees without deformation or fracture. Watching steel bounce back is so weird! Sara continues to be a great co-host. Going through the grain with thin blades was always going to be rough, but still doable.

Got two BugOuts, a first production Ranger Green one and a first production Black CF Elite. Love em both, and they have covered all my knife needs.

Is there any reason Benchmade can’t use D2 on the Bugout and sell them for $50 bucks ? Then we could afford them 🇺🇸

I had a buyout from you guys I hit a few years ago. It had Micarta scales. I loved it but had to sell it because I had unexpected medical issues come up. I wish I still had it.

These tasks definitely aren’t easy if you don’t spend a lot of time outdoors doing them, I appreciate the effort these two put into the testing. Also glad to see how well the bugout held up. Anyone who is expecting a hard use tool out of the bugout is looking for a different knife, still cool to see that it could make it happen in a pinch.

Awesome video, would love to see more like this rather than tabletop reviews. Just bought my 3rd bugout the other day

I have 2 Bugouts and I honestly love them both. I love that it disappears in my pocket. I've carried Cold Steel or Spyderco for years, but the Bugout has quickly taken over as my EDC.

7.45 - 8.00, George do you realise what you are doing? Watch it again and just be glad you got home to your family that day.. Lets not do that again, okay.

“You almost want your knife to have some flex” 😂

Guys just buy a Hogue Dekka, save about $20-30. You get better materials too.

Or any sliding bar lock knife from kizer for that matter.

This content is so much better. Ditch the studio!

You should do a series of knives in other workplaces. Warehouse tasks, maker spaces, automotive garages, hell. Even artists studios.

I've had a Bugout for awhile now, it replaced a 10 year old cheap Kershaw that had been amazing. I carried the BO for awhile, but the grip did bother me some. And I didn't really want to lose Benchmade money. I've been checking out my knife along with your test, it's pretty cool. I'll work it back into rotation.

I carry the bugout and the canyon hunter simultaniously as my edc's. I use my bugout for daily tasks, but my canyon hunter is my true GTF out of town knife.
