I think the reason for the change in revenue is due to that YouTube only started revenue sharing at the beginning of 2023 whereas before it was from a separate "shorts fund" like the TikTok creator fund

I think the reason the pixel art short earned more was because there were a lot more recent views compared to the other shorts. And YouTube is paying a lot more for shorts recently
