I am currently on bed rest which has given me the opportunity to watch several of your videos on loose painting. I am itching to get back to my paints. I feel that, with your great instruction my creative "eye" is starting to see possibilities and opportunities. Thank you for your wonderful videos.

This painting is so beutiful....ahhhh....THOSE COLORS together make me feel so warm and content..This video helped " open me up " more to the battle I fight with intimidation of water color. I am a beginner, and I long to get better and understand this paint. It is my favorite paint and I really appreciate your work and wisdom. Thank you for this channel.

Angela, thank you for being so relaxed in your presentation and willing to actually let us see your experiments. This alone creates the feeling of "I can do this" that simple words or pictures do not convey! Cannot wait to try this.

Your video demos are wonderful and refreshing. You are showing everyone not to be afraid to put the paint on the paper, even when they don't know what they are doing. To take chances and have fun. Thank you so much.

Angela, I can’t believe how much you have learned and how much you have ‘grown’ since I began watching you.! I am now doing abstracts but at 91 I have slowed down a lot but am great full to YOU for teaching me so much and you are always a very valuable teacher to return to. Love You! Margery Griffith

I am so glad I ran into you in the Artwork Creative Productivity. You immediately became my favorite artist. Thank you for the downloads and tutorials. I'm sure I will be spending A LOT of time on your channel. I tried watercolor years ago (I'm 73) and gave up. I can do leaves, I have my own homemade wildlife habitat, with lots of them. lol You are so talented!

How beautiful. perked my ear when you mentioned multi-pigmented colors. Been doing a lot of theory, I find it interesting. It also explains why some accidents aren't so "happy". I never knew! I am not an artist by trade, I am a frontline worker that has dove headfirst into watercolor. I LOVE IT. It would be interesting to see the colors you used for the stamping swatched and mixed so you could see how single and multi-pigmented colors interact. Thanks for sharing your new experience with us. Im so glad I didnt delete this email before I read it.

Stunning painting .. awesome techniques shown... I find when I do paintings like this.... If I set it aside frequently and then study it... my mind's eye "sees" things that I then only need to bring out with a little light and shadow.. What an incredible inspiration for painters of any skill level ...

Angela, may be one of your best videos yet! You do take the fear away and for me that is the most important thing. Love this!

I struggle with just letting go and forcing something to happen. Watching your videos encourages me that it is okay to be loose and freeing. I can't wait to go outside and collect some leaves. Fall is my favorite time of the year!

Oh!! How Nice!! Perfect example of trying new things and not giving up without seeing it through

I really like the way the lowest leaf is just a hint, the middle leaf more defined and the top leaf and all the surrounds it is a smooth, bright presence in the painting. I was amazed at how the top leaf continued to solidify itself in the painting and shone. I am not sure this is the right way to explain it, but I am going outside now to pick up a couple leaves and try this myself with just some simple watercolors to see if I can apply this technique to my painting. Definitely out of my comfort zone. But I watch the master and learn.

Yes, I tried this technique, I found that not rubbing the leaves, but just gently applying the leaves to different zones, wet, or dry, or somewhere in between gives nice results

Really enjoyed how the loose painting was transformed with your negative painting. Beautiful!

You took a simple lead printing to a whole new level and made a finished painting with interesting darks and the serpentine shape. Can’t wait to try it. Thank you!
