10 Child Stars Who Did Not Age Well

1.MACAULAY CULKIN
Macaulay Culkin was the kid that made the Home Alone movies the box office hits that they were. But like many child actors, it took its toll and he turned to drugs. He got himself clean and tried to get a few acting spots, but his adult appearance is not as cute. He now has a happy life out of the spotlight with his own band.

2. LARK VOORHIES
Lark Voorhies is most known for playing the adorable and sassy Lisa Turtle on Saved By The Bell. However, the years have not been kind to her, in more ways than one. She suffers from mental illness but has still managed to create her own production company in her adult years. It’s obvious that much of her less than attractive adult appearance has to do with plastic surgery.

3. JONATHAN LIPNICKI,
Jonathan Lipnicki was the adorable little child star that everyone loved. He could act, he was the cutest little boy on the big screen…and then puberty hit. As a young adult he looks nothing like his childhood self. His adorable smile now seems to overtake his face and he might just be too buff. Or maybe we’re just all missing that cute little boy and not ready to see the man he is now.

4. JEREMY MILLER
Jeremy Miller may not have been the most attractive boy on Growing Pains, but he had some stiff competition with Kirk Cameron and Leonardo DiCaprio. But those awkward teen years hit hard and they left their mark. He doesn’t have the looks of his former co-stars and his smile that was cute on a boy is just a little odd on a grown man.

5.DANIEL RADCLIFFE
Daniel Radcliffe has a hard road to follow as an adult, because no one wants to see him as anything other than the boy wizard. Harry grew up before our eyes and it was hard enough to say goodbye. As the years have passed Daniel started to look more and more like a grown man and accomplished actor than the boy we all knew. So while there’s nothing terribly horrible about his looks, he doesn’t look like Harry anymore.

6. HALEY JOEL OSMENT
Haley Joel Osment was adorable and talented in a way that is rarely, if ever, found these days. The Sixth Sense was almost scrapped because they could not find a kid able to play the part, until Haley. Now the twenty something actor is trying to make his way as adult and taking on unexpected roles. He is definitely not as cute as he used to be.

7. RAVEN SYMONE
Raven Symone was adorable. Like really adorable. But her move to her own show That’s So Raven did not seem to be the best move for her. She put on a great deal of weight and seemed to be under a lot of stress. She had gone back and forth gaining and losing weight. She has come out of the closet and has tried to be the fashionista on the edge of what’s hip. But she’s just not as cute or even as beautiful as she used to be.

8.SEAN ASTIN
Sean Astin was easily the cute one in The Goonies. There were few girls that would not have wanted The Goonies leader for themselves. As he grew up he put on a little weight and just gained a bit of an awkward appearance. His charm and acting skills continue to steal the stage, however, because his role as Samwise Gamgee was almost enough to make people see him as someone other than a Goonie.

9. TARAN NOAH SMITH
He was the cute little brother on Home Improvement, always the butt of his big brother’s jokes and pranks. He also had to contend with Johnathan Taylor Thomas, so he was never going to get much attention in the series. He grew up and got an awkward appearance that has not been softened by his behavior. His bad marriages and drunken driving are the only things that get him attention anymore.

10. JASON HERVEY
So he wasn’t exactly the handsome one on The Wonder Years, but it worked because he was a bit of a jerk. But when he was being a good brother and actually being nice, there was something to be seen in his looks and personality. Now he is getting older and not looking as handsome as he used to be. His hair is thinning and he almost looks like Mickey Rourke after the plastic surgery.
