I just looked at the trailer for Aggretsuko and i thought it was really funny when it suddenly cuts to her singing death metal at the karaoke bar. It reminds me of another show you might like called Watamote. Its about a nerdy high school who has severe social anxiety. Most of the show you are hearing her internal monologue. How she is in her head and when shes alone is totally different from when she needs to interact with people.

I'm the same with music as you. I'm very picky about my music, but also feel like I enjoy a good variety of things. These days it seems there are further and further between the really great musicians. One of my favorites currently has been Saveus which is a Danish band (all songs are in English), and I just enjoy the atmosphere, voice and how he's doing his own thing.

If you're looking for music suggestions, I'd try Bastille :) I'd start with their first album, Bad Blood. I've always thought that the Urban Decay eye shadow primer was way over-hyped.
