Congrats on your brave efforts at pronouncing terms in Irish! You mention the term bean-caointe early on (pronounced, more or less, as "ban KHWEEN-chuh", meaning "keening/crying woman") and Dearg-Dubh (pronounced "daarrag due", meaning "red-black"). Mind you, I only know these pronunciations because I studied in Ireland my third year of college, and my Irish Studies program included Irish language classes, which were easily my favorite... :)
