I disagree with Pastor Doug's explanation. The verse is talking about Rich people oppressing everyone else. Why should we run away from the literal meaning of the verse. There are so many verses to support the literal meaning of this parable. In the entire Bible, God has always been on the side of the oppressed even though they don't know it.
