The school needs to be sued for harassment and discriminatory practices! Selective enforcement is illegal!

My daughter was 5 minutes late on her last day of school, like ever. I got an email literally threatening detentions, yes, multiple detentions if I didn't call and explain why she signed in late. It was raining, she is autistic and hates the rain. I went off on how the email threatens kids with detentions or even suspension if they are constantly late without a reason. Apparently, traffic problems are not an excuse anymore either. So glad I don't have to deal with educational BS anymore.

Dayum, I didn't know you could be truant WHILE AT SCHOOL!
He is still there, in the building, on the school campus, and they had the gall to call Alex TRUANT???
Can someone say GRASPING AT STRAWS?
Four more months till graduation and you are free Alex.

Truancy and tardiness should not be a criminal matter for the courts to handle anyhow. This should be entirely an administrative action taken within the schools themselves and shouldn't involve law enforcement or the judicial system at all.

It cost $25, 000 to start the case in any state to take a law to that state supreme court. It is a matter of control

Seriously... THIS WAS/STILL IS.. MY I think I finally got it today when, in response to my brother agreeing that MY Logic is Sound, and True, and I said, "I may not always be Right... but I'm ALWAYS Proper." 😂 And it felt *finally* like the correct verbiage for what it is I, and the Others like me, DO 😂😅🥴💩🙉 I run on Pure KINDNESS, and I'm quite sure you guys do too🧡🧡🧡 I've been discovering that it is within the Spectrum of AuDHD Beings that I find the most Kindness, and the most GROWTH, and LOVE... so, thanks again SO MUCH, for what you do.. it really brightens my days when I see you pop up with another Victory over the Tyrannical FOOLS that is "Mainstream" populous. ☮️❤️‍🔥🕉️🧘🤸🧚🐦‍🔥🌈🫧🍀✨♾️🙌

Schools think themselves as 'gods!'
Several schools tried to pull sh9t with my twin boys, even getting children's services involved. The only way they stopped was to threaten to take them to court and children's services, who rarely back parents, told them she ain't playing and we WILL back her!

Even when I was in high school (late 70s) had one teacher tried to pull "I'll make sure you won't graduate" cause I was coming in late to her class after lunch, although we were in the hallway, shouting for all the others to hear as if she was trying to make an example of me. I ripped her with so.e facts: a) at the beginning of the semester, she gave me permission to work ahead in our little "workbook" which i completed and she graded it way ahead of the rest of the class. b) i was never more than 10 minutes late as we, as seniors had to have lunches off campus since our lunchroom wasn't large enough for juniors and seniors to eat in with the other grades). c) tried to make it a point that I needed the points to graduate: 1) since when is ACCOUNTING (which was a fluff class for me) required to graduate? 2) i had over the number of points (needed 90 and i had 120 at the start of the year) I needed to graduate (and had taken a couple of college courses) my JUNIOR YEAR, but I wanted to graduate with class.
I guess she had checked and saw i was right and didn't say anything.

In January, seniors, assuming they had met all the requirements, could take the second half of the year off if their teachers would sign off. She thought she was slick by not signing off to 'punish me!' Okay, I'll PLAY!
Arrived every day, the last 10 minutes to class, sit in the seat right in front of her, put my feet up, pull out the newspaper, stare her dead in the face, and DARE her to say something! She couldn't do a darn thing. Yes, I graduated

That school admin are bullies. My sons school has first bell at 8:50am and the role is marked up until 9am, then they go to class, one teacher literally locked the door at 8:50am then marked every kid locked outside absent. After I found out why my son was always being absent I called the Dean of his year and pointed out what was happening, next day a new teacher was taking the role 😊.

I like that judge. Call it like it is. I can't remember how many times I was a minute or two tardy to class in school myself. My teachers spent a moment or two chastising me and the matter was swiftly forgotten. I didn't make it a habit, which it sounds like Alex didn't either. Wasting the resources of the judicial system with this like that school did to Alex, though, wow... Get Floored Karen! (Yeah the PG wording x3)

Anyway, sorry for the long spiel. Our education system has sucked for a very long time. I hope it improves, but I'm not holding my breath.

Okay so first let me say I just found your videos a few days ago and I'm invested!!! I am 100% Team Alex and Quinn haha! Okay, so I just want to say though that I kind of envy your school system a bit... I know.. I know... just hear me out though. I live in Canada, BC to be exact. I have four kids (all adults now), My experience with the schools here are they simply don't care. I mean, I WISH my kids were held accountable for being late (obviously not 1 or 2 mins lol that's crazy)! Here, kids can skip school, skip class, refuse to go to school, walk out in the middle of class, etc! I've actually never even heard of court for being late? Really? I mean, it sounds neat... like, I love the idea of holding kids responsible for their decisions. I simply didn't even know this was a thing! I wish our schools took education that serious! I'm not kidding! My daughter literally never actually passed a grade!!! She constantly skipped school (literally refused to get out of bed!) The times I tried to force her to go she would just go to school throw a fit, and the school would demand that I come pick her up! She officially dropped out in grade 10 and still couldn't tell you the months of the year!!!! The education system out here in so broken! They say they don't fail kids because it causes more problems in the long run, so they just push them through to the next year!
