Here’s the thing: valuing BTC in terms of USD is difficult because the purchasing power of USD is going down while the purchasing power of BTC is going up, so if BTC is worth $10M in 2040 as Fidelity predicts, what will that $10M buy you? Likely not as much as it could today. We also need to try to estimate the average inflation/debasement rate of USD over our investment time horizon to account for purchase power loss over that period of time. I don’t hear many BTC proponents talking about this in concrete terms
