I have PTSD from my Vietnam experience - '68 to '69. Am still fighting that war in my head, but feeling better about myself. The VA has a program to help address such issues. Better late than never. Went through their program (12 weeks, one session a week) very intense and focused. I decided to tough it out. I've been through dozens of counseling sessions over an 8 year period with different folks. No one put their finger on the PTSD issue in all that time. The music you've posted is so cathartic.

Does anyone else feel a sense of serenity when it comes to space and whatever is beyond? A feeling so peaceful that, even though life sucks sometimes, maybe even most if not all the time, you can take a moment to just breathe and truly appreciate that you just exist. And it’s not just about yourself, it’s about something more grand. Something bigger than ourselves, something to reach our hands out to and feel, not literally, but to think that we were gifted life to experience existence itself. This all very nice. But to most of us experiencing daily anxiety and depression, its going to take alot more to get back on track. Just about every calming music video out there have the same sentiments in the comments. Its a shame that in the real world, not many people offer the same, kind words or support. Grown up with new age music. When I was a kid, I loved ambient new age music. Enigma, Delirium, Enya... Especially Enigma and Michael Cretu. Now that I am older I Love to listen to downtempo ambient music, space ambient and psy-chill music. Especially space ambient music. It brings me freedom from stress and noise. Love it. It is the language of peace and tranquility.

My insomnia has been really bad lately. I have barely slept in three days. A friend of mine suggested music, so I decided to take a short nap and I found this and fell asleep to it. I actually managed to get a full sleep cycle in and I feel slightly less dead. Thank you.
