Part 1 - How to implement custom Forms Authentication in ASP.NET MVC application

In this post, I am going to implement Custom Forms authentication in ASP.NET MVC4 application.
I often find that developers feel uncomfortable setting up Forms Authentication in their web applications. In ASP.NET default #membership provider, Information about users and their roles stored in the predefined table and it's not customizable which makes it very complicated to take full control of the database and forms #authentication mechanism.

Following this video, when I try to create the Login view, it errors out due to a lack of a key.  But I am wondering why everyone who shows how to implement forms authentication in MVC ignores the AccountViewModels, AccountController, and the full set of Account views that are already provided when you create an MVC application.  I would like to find a video where someone writes the front-end code that works with the existing user

How do you completely logout the user once the session times out.? Do you clear any authenticate cookie? I used Forms.Authentication.Signout but it does not work -user can't log back in unless User either have to click logout or open a new page .
