Sleep better with this TRAVEL HACK!

One of the most important things that I need for travel is SLEEP! And one of the most annoying things when I travel is having these little neon lights all over my room!

This hack is the one that will get me the best sleep! Utilizing these black post it notes I can cover up almost all of the neon lights in my sleeping area! I can also use the painters tape to block out the people on a hotel room door! This way I know nobody’s looking in!  Now I’ll be able to sleep in peace!

Something else I do, the pants hangers with the clips? Use them horizontally to keep the curtains closed. For some reason, hotel curtains don’t close all the way so this is my solution ❤️

You probably already covered this but if I am sleeping like a stone, I don’t want anyone coming into the hotel room “by mistake” so I carry a small rubber door stop that jams the door if anyone tries to enter.

I roll some black electric tape over my power bank (or anything), use it for the same purposes (those electronic lights!) and doesn’t occupy any space or get lost.

I just stayed in a hotel room (a really nice one) with fantastic, overlapping blackout curtains but the most intense, inescapable light pollution from smoke detectors, motion sensors and twenty other sources. I just have to wear an eye mask, as there is no covering up ceiling-mounted flashing lights.

A girl after my own heart. My husband thinks im weird for covering peep holes and cameras on devices. I dont travel as much as you do but il be sure to cover those annoying neon lights on the plane above me. Although they can be turned off sometimes.

I've never seen black post-it notes. Where do they sell them?
I did this with an old VHS/DVD player/recorder, but I used a sharpie to color the post-it black. The clock always lost time. So every few months I had to change it. (or every couple of weeks if I stayed on top of it.) We get a lot of power outages, too. Had to change the time twice a year anyway. I just keep it covered.

I hope nobody hates on me for saying they aren't neon lights. They are LED lights. I know that is being picky...but you were speaking if pet peeves...
