I had abusive, insane religious fanatic parents. Everything in this movie rings true to me, even the self harm inflicted to escape unendurable fear.

Oh my gaga!! This looks incredible. The intensity of thr camera wngles, the sound heightens everything and it had a beautiful aesthetic. The story is so intriguing and doesn't give a lot away but has a real thinker of ethics ar play!! Everyone involved should be proud of this and you do sone amazing actibg ❤❤

I wasn't sure I wanted to watch this one, but I'm glad I did. The acting and all the production values are first rate. This is an original twist on the familiar coming out story amidst religious bigotry (there's something wrong with the village). I am left thinking of the Hebraic stories of golem; calling it Ganymede as the metaphorical reference is ingenious. It's an intense ride, but in the end, we win. Bravo!

What I’m getting from this is the one who is forced into conversion therapy either goes on a murder rampage of the people hurting him. I paused it on the corpse and it looks like comedian Rob Riggle is in this movie and he is the one who’s dead.
