Long ago, when the channel was Chilled Cow, I discovered lofi. With the ADHD and night shifts I used to work, not mention living in a seaside town, this has been the soundtrack to my life since I discovered it. I'll actively listen to other genres, but when the brain idles, and I'm just cycling beside the sea, Lofi Girl is there for me always.

I discovered this channel while I was stuck at home during the pandammit, trying to balance WFH with existential dread. This channel helped restore my peace of mind, transported me to another place where it didn't feel like the world was about to end.

It's been five years since then, and we as a society and a planet are NOT okay, even though we like to pretend otherwise. Thankfully, Lofi Girl is still there to provide an oasis of calm, a respite from the crackling static outside our doors and inside our own heads. It may seem very emotional of me, but this channel has left a positive mark on my life forever.
I discovered this channel in 2019, which was a very difficult year for my student life. I had returned to my home country, but I wasn't even literate in my native language. I had a lot of difficulties at school, besides the bullying for having a different accent, I was almost like an alien in my own country and I didn't understand almost anything that was explained in the classrooms. The last semesters approached and I was sure that I would fail, I spent sleepless nights and it was during those nights that I discovered this channel. I did the greatest academic comeback of my life and passed my final exams.
I was just a child at that time, today, I am polyglot, I speak Portuguese, Italian, Spanish and English.
